Making Dandelion Jelly:

Dandelion jelly is a little known treat. Many claim it has a taste that is similar to honey. The most difficult part of making it is collecting your dandelions.


3 c. Dandelion Tea
4.5 c. Sugar
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 box pectin, powdered


In a large saucepan bring your dandelion tea, lemon juice pectin and sugar to a boil. Boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and fill your hot jelly jars (Pint or 1/2 pint jars work best), be sure to leave 1/4" head space.

Below 6000 ft. elevation: 10 minute processing time
